We’re currently raising money to make essential improvements and developments that will benefit centre users and the local community. To find out more about our 4 exciting plans click below.
Supporting the Centre of Your Local Community The
progress of this room is amazing! Before Christmas it was a dusty
storage room above the changing rooms, with a failing asbestos roof. The
old roof was removed, floor replaced, walls built with new windows and a
new roof. During the main build, we discovered that the original
plumbing was outdated so that was upgraded, at a cost of £20K, along
with other bizarre electrical wiring and gas plumbing that had to be
dealt with, at extra cost.
The
new room is close to completion - plastering, flooring and lighting to
be finished. We’re still looking for donations to help get the room
finished, so please donate what you can or join the 100 Club, details at
reception.
Our 100 Club is now up and running with all proceeds going towards improving the
centre for all of it’s users!
How it works - members pay £10 a month via
standing order with a chance to win £100 each month!
Those
who have already shown an interest have been emailed with all the
details of how to set up your standing order, look for your email from
Sophie Walker or talk to reception to join up.
The first draw will take
place on 30th September and will be posted on our social medias.
